ABOUT NEFERTITI

As a New York City native, Nefertiti Joyner began her professional career in 2001. She was hand selected and recruited by the National Academy of Finance (NAF) to work at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) as a Financial Analyst within the Human Resources Department. She made history as a member of the first Academy of Finance graduating class to participate in and take first place in the Stock Market Game in the city of New York. At the end of her tenure with the OCC, she received a Certificate of Financial Studies in 2002 from the Academy of Finance, marking the beginning of a storied career in financial operations.

 

In the Fall of 2002, she continued on her financial studies journey as an undergrad at Bernard Baruch College, a City University of New York. In the following year, she was honored to be accepted into one of the top undergraduate programs in the Zicklin School of Business for Accounting and Operations Management. While she studied, she worked part-time within the college as a Senior Administrative Assistant to the Director of the Student Academic Consulting Center.

 

In 2005, while Ms. Joyner studied for her Bachelor’s Degree, she landed a position and was awarded a scholarship at Enterprise Rent-a-Car for her deliverance of highly effective methods and enforcement in customer satisfaction. She worked there for two years. She started out as an intern and then shortly after she was promoted to a full-time Management Trainee position. At Enterprise she learned the Enterprise way of “How to Run a Business”. Nefertiti’s hard work and dedication drove an increase in results which consistently placed her amongst the Top Sellers. Thus, this success drove her to keep striving for nothing less than the best in her professional growth.

 

Alongside her Enterprise employment, she was recruited by the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) to serve in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.  She received extensive training from the IRS and the state to offer services to students, seniors, and members of low income households to file their tax returns as a service to the community. She qualified to receive her certification, and went forward to help many in need.

 

In 2008, Nefertiti was recruited at Baruch College by Citibank North America as a Management Associate. She climbed her way up in several Financial Centers where she worked most of the retail banking positions. Some of these positions were as a Bank Teller, Customer Service Representative, Operations Manager, Personal and Business Banker, and as a Project Team Leader at their headquarters in Long Island City, NY. Throughout her rotations at different branches, she obtained her licensing in Life, Accident and Health Insurance. This added value to the branches by implementing her standards of excellent customer service and driving selling solutions to Citibank clients. The increase in her sales and service volume year over year was inevitably recognized by a Sales Area Director. Two years later, she received the promotion she was aiming for and achieved the title Branch Manager, Vice President.

 

Over the years, Nefertiti gained so much wisdom, experience and exposure in corporate where she found her confidence in networking skills needed to be a successful manager. Collectively she racked up 15 years of experience in managing teams as large as 40 associates at one time, a Relationship Manager who portfolioed a book of business net worth of $300M, in addition to a high volume of sales and service through retail management platforms. Ms. Joyner remains a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys growing her business into a million dollar operation.

 

Currently, Nefertiti has a loving family. She is the mother of 2 children, son and daughter. She balances a family life while managing teams and working directly with small business clients to grow their business by using Marketing strategies to gain more customers. Moreover, she is in business for herself as a licensed Financial Professional, who is the proud Owner of Joyner’s Corner, LLC., and is able to extend Financial Services through an array of products and services. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, building her brand, and exposing the business to one family at a time to help them reach their financial goals.  She is currently licensed to offer life insurance in New York, Maryland, Virginia, and Texas as well as several other services she provides across the United States. Nefertiti is committed to coaching and developing others for the betterment of the people in her community. Ms. Joyner is a mentor to young adults who are just getting started with their work history as well as individuals and families looking to make the best of their financial circumstances.

 

Ms. Joyner has the ability to create employment opportunities in the Insurance, Tax preparation and Credit Restoration businesses. These opportunities can start generating income in as little as two weeks. All opportunities include training and tools to be a successful Independent Agent.
